- An Implementation Specialist is assigned to work with you through your entire conversion. We use standard project management techniques and remain engaged until you’ve reached your goals and beyond.

Most of our new clients switch to Advantage from another software system or a mixture of spreadsheets and stand-alone software programs. We help you with your transition by taking time to understand their current workflow and then chart a course for success. Each new client is assigned to our implementation team of specialists who provide consulting and advice on system setup until their goals are achieved. We even assist with data conversions, when possible, using a number of pre-defined data import paths.
Training & Support
All members of our training staff are agency veterans with a thorough understanding of the agency business and the Advantage Software Suite. Our training programs are based on our clients’ needs and use a blend of on-site visits, individual web conferences, and group webinars. Each training course is tailored to the client and follows a pre-approved agenda. After initial training is complete, we are available to provide targeted follow-up training.
Advantage Software and Technical support is available 12 hours a day to ensure we address the needs of all our clients, regardless of their time zone. “Live” telephone support is the most common method for providing support, but we also offer email support and a host of other online services. When you call, you’ll be routed to the first available representative, not an answering machine. Average resolution time for issues is 40 minutes. Our Client Relations department provides proactive services such as capabilities demos and regular webinars on hot topics. Our Software and Technical Support departments fully support all areas of the system including installation, questions, enhancement requests, issue resolution and more.
We appreciate and support the custom, personalized nature of the agency business. The arrival of a new client or a new employee can change the way an agency uses Advantage. They may need to explore under-utilized features to support new reporting or workflow. To uncover these needs, we frequently perform “Advantage Audits” to ensure our clients are receiving the full value ROI potential of Advantage.
We also appreciate the varying levels of “tech savvy” that exist in the agency world. Both experts and non-experts have realized the benefits of our technical audits and consulting services. Through Basic Computer Systems (a Division of Advantage), we also provide complete “plug and play” systems designed to fit your specific needs.
Our consultants and engineers respond when a client needs custom programming. Custom projects like a specialized client invoice format or report can often be developed quickly and delivered efficiently through one of our reporting interface options. Disaster recovery has been on the minds of most businesses these days and we provide a service to our clients to ensure recovery of operational data should a disaster occur. The basic service provides access to Advantage system data for any reason such as fire, flood, electric power malfunctions, natural disasters or other causes. This is another value-added service we provide that will ensure your agency stays on track, no matter what.
